Supported IBM AIX 7.2 Versions

Use the following information to check the minimum supported IBM AIX 7.2 on POWER Systems (64-bit) versions:

AIX 7.2 Operating System Filesets	The following operating system filesets are required: `bos.adt.base` `bos.adt.lib` `bos.adt.libm` `bos.perf.libperfstat` `bos.perf.perfstat` `bos.perf.proctools` `xlC.aix61.rte:13.1.0.1` or later `xlC.rte:13.1.0.1` or later The following filesets are required for Oracle Real Application Clusters (Oracle RAC) Installations only: `rsct.basic.rte` `rsct.compat.clients.rte`
AIX 7.2 APARs and Other Operating System Fixes	If you are using the minimum operating system TL level for AIX 7.2 listed above, then install the following AIX APAR fix: AIX7.2 TL02 : IJ06143 – GETSOCKNAME returns invalid path name for AF_UNIX sockets Note: If you are using a later TL level than the minimum level listed for this release, then contact IBM to determine if the required APARs listed in this section are included in the TL level that you have on your system. If they are included, then you do not have to install them. If they are not included, then you must install the equivalent APAR for the appropriate TL level. AIX APAR numbers are tied to AIX versions and technology levels.
